With the CADENAS class importer you can transfer classifications together with article master-data to PARTsolutions.
The structure of the ERP classification is shown as hierarchy in PARTsolutions. Thereby the hierarchy is produced as an own catalog with the respective sub-folders.
Within the class (part family) all members, which are part of this class are displayed. Thereby multiple values and interval values (e.g., from SAP) are displayed as value ranges in PARTsolutions.
Possibly available STL files may be integrated as 3-D preview images, possibly available principle images can be integrated in the parts selection and in the Technical details window. See Fig. „PARTdataManager - Own catalog - Part view “.
The export of the needed files is completed by the customer, or by a SAP partner of CADENAS.
Concerning the needed data structure please see the following sections.
During the nightly data replication data changes concerning master-data, class structure and newer STL and BMP files are considered. The data can be made available in different languages and displayed according to the respective language setting.
Master-data are stored in the PARTsolutions link-database (available over all parts); attributes and the associated values are stored file based (part-specific).
