1.3.6.5.2. Revert local changes

As long as the command Commit catalog changes to classification server has not yet been executed, the changes are only locally and can be reverted directly by the Revert changes command.

Example 1 - A product has been removed locally (meaning the changes have not yet been committed) and shall be restored

  1. For a certain product the command Remove product has been executed.

    -> As long as no commit has been executed the product is marked as locally removed .

  2. In this case you can restore the product very easy when using the command Revert changes.

    In order for a local change to be reverted use the command "Revert changes".

    -> Immediately after executing the command the initial situation is restored.

Example 2 - A class assignment has been locally removed (meaning the changes have not yet been committed to the server) and now it shall be restored

  1. For a certain product the command Remove class assignment has been executed.

    Here exemplified the command has been executed on the tabbed page Products. Just as well the command can be executed in the Products view for a certain product (or multiple).

    -> Once the command has been executed the product is no more visible on the tabbed page Products of the respective class.

  2. Change to the Products view.

    As long as no commit has been executed yet, the original status can be restored via Revert changes command.

    -> Immediately after executing the command the product is displayed in the respective class again.
