Usually you open Part selection in the PARTdataManager via the PARTsolutions menu of your CAD system, for example with the Insert 3D command or with 2D CAD systems with Insert 2D. Detailed information about the CAD interfaces can be found under Chapter 2, Open PARTsolutions from CAD systems. |

Alternatively you can open the PARTdataManager (PARTsolutions parts management) directly via the start menu.
