1.1.6.3.5.1. Additional functions for $CADEANS_DEFAULTUSER

Under $CADENAS_DEFAULTUSER and $CADENAS_USER you will find most of the configuration files twice.

Administratively, in $CADENAS_DEFAULTUSER you can make all settings similar for all users.

In $CADENAS_USER local settings are saved. If you were to delete your personal files under $CADENAS_USER completely, they would be recopied from $CADENAS_DEFAULTUSER upon restarting.

Administratively you may define whether and how files and keys from $CADENAS_USER are to be overwritten from $CADENAS_DEFAULTUSER.

You have the following options:

  1. Key level:

Select a key row and open the context menu.

    • Overwrite never : LWidth2=0.000000

The key value is not overwritten.

The font color switches to green.

    • Overwrite always : LWidth0=0.000000

The key value is always overwritten.

The font color switches to yellow.

In this mode, local settings are written over each time the application is loaded again, so that a switch into the local file is not effective.
