In order to be able to use licenses of the type "Floating", a FLM service has to be installed on a computer (FLM server) in the network. Also one or two other FLM servers could be installed as backup. Detailed information on installation of a FLM server can be found under Einrichten eines FLM-Servers in WINDOWS.

Start the FLM server license administration in PARTadmin -> category License administration by clicking the button Start license server management....

In this mode you can access all setting options. Detailed information on this can be found in this chapter.

If there is no PSOL installation available on the Admin client, use PARTadmin from the FLM installation (which is always installed in addition). However, please regard to start it with "`padmin.exe -flm`" (an entry is already made in this way in Windows Start menu under CADENAS -> License administration (FLM server administration)), to get it started in FLM mode. Own shortcuts also have to be adjusted in this way. Under Windows -> Services -> CADENAS Floating License Service V11 -> context menu "Properties" you can see the installation path of the FLM server.
