Value ranges are automatically resolved. In many cases the resolving is correct, in very complex cases possibly a manual editing is required to receive a correct mapping.
The following example shows a standard case with correct resolving of the value range.
To be sure that correct mappings are available, perform the function Map resolved value ranges .
Above the table, click on the button Map resolved value ranges (for all table lines).
or on the context menu command Map resolved value ranges of this line of a single line.
-> The dialog box Select value range variables opens.
Activate those checkboxes where the value range has been resolved and confirm by clicking on .
Now, in a line, click on the icon Map resolved value ranges .
-> The dialog box Edit value range mappings opens showing a listing of all value combinations (single values separated by semicolon). At the end of each line you can find the LINE_ID separated by a colon.
The LINE_ID can also be found in the right table as last column.
Now, when changing values of value range variables in the left table, in the right table, the correct line is automatically selected.
