6.8.  Variable Manager docking window

Function Variable Manager

In the docking window Variable Manager you can apply new variables and/or change details about existing variables.

The above figure shows all existing docking windows (working areas) as an overview.

Normally you won't use all docking windows at the same time. Make your own user interface as desired.

  • Show or hide single docking windows via the respective buttons of the Default toolbar or menu items of the View menu.

  • Move the single docking windows and adjust them in size. A detailed description on this can be found under Section 3.1.5.4, “Placing method for dockings ” in PARTsolutions / PARTcommunity4Enterprise - User manual.

Structure Variable Manager

In the upper dialog area all variables already specified are listed. Variables which you want to edit, select with the mouse cursor and in the lower area, adjust the single parameters.

Color code Variable Manager

  • Table variable

  • Table variable and Designer variable

  • Designer variable

  • Selected row

You can change the Mode anytime by selecting a variable, changing the mode in the list field and clicking on Commit.
