8.1. Function

With the Configurator, parts - created in PARTdesigner - can be connected to complex Assemblies.

The control of the assembly configuration is determined via a system of rules.

The following is determined there...

...which connection parts for the Start element will be available in the PARTdataManager,
...at which locations these parts are added to the start element
...and how the selection of the respective table will be dimensioned.

Note

Parts can only be configured to an assembly if they were assigned Connection points in the PARTdesigner!

In the Configurator a Main configuration is later created which connects parts according to theirConnection points .
