8.8.5. Create Assembly-Table-Project

In the hinge_asmtpl.prj context menu, you can find the command Create assembly table project .

The Create assembly table dialog box appears.

Select the project from the pull-down menu, which contains the table with which you want to control the assembly. In this example, it is HINGEDUMMY.

So far as the table "hinge_dummy" has been adjusted, the Standard name is correct; otherwise assign a definite standard name to the assembly.

So that only the Assembly-Table-Project is visible in the PARTdataManager, and not the "intermediary steps" template and assembly configuration, hide these with Hide project in the context menu of the directory tree. You should also hide the dummy project this way.

[Note] Note

Do not forget to update the index!

You can now select both single part, wing and bolt and the Assembly-Table-Project "hinge" in the PARTdataManager.
