6.6.2.10.1.2. General adjustments

  • All visible in this configuration

This command is used, for example when you want to display the same feature at the "medium" level as with "high".

First select "medium" and then the execute the command.

  • All invisible in this configuration

For adjustment this can be the quickest at level "low".

First, hide all features, and then show each feature bit by bit, using the "visible in this configuration" command (found at feature level), until you have reached the desired level of detail for your feature.

  • Reset all configurations

All settings are deleted with this.

If you want to select Levels of Detail, activate Calculate configuration automatically... .

Possibly this is the fastest way to start over or simply to receive a "neutral" part.

  • Calculate configuration automatically...

Only now are the automatically calculated levels of detail available.

Via this command, the level of detail is automatically calculated and also saved in the 3DB. This can be used as the basis for further reductions.

Using this command, you can reestablish the initial state, in case you previously made any changes.

A security question assures that no important settings are accidentally lost.

  • Deactivate automatic configurations

Use this option to make sure that the LOD is always set to "high" and exported as such independent of the LOD setting in the PARTdataManager.

    [Note] Note

As soon as a special configuration is set in PARTdesigner, the calculation of the Level of Detail is automatically no longer applicable in the PARTdataManager in every case.

If no specific configuration takes place in PARTdesigner, the automatic calculation would take place in the PARTdataManager. This can be eliminated with the option Deactivate automatic configurations.

  • Copy configuration from

Use this command if, for example, you want to use the level of detail "low" with "medium".
