4.2. Function 4.2.1. Opening PARTdesigner

In order to open PARTdesigner, to edit a geometry and/or the characteristic attribute table, do the following:

Mark the file *.3db (or possibly *.3gb) or *.tab / *.tac.

-> In the Edit project dialog area the 3D preview shows up.
Click on Edit.

You have only 2 options:
1. The file already contains content which you want to edit.
  
  -> PARTdesigner opens directly.
  
  PARTdesigner
2. The file does not yet contain content and you want to apply it:
  
  You will be asked in the Edit file window, whether or not the file *.3db file is to be applied..
  
  Use variable from table
  
  If desired, set a checkmark at the option field Use variable from tableso that the variables will be transferred to PARTeditor and confirm with OK.
