4.9.2.4. Menu item Table filter

  • Restricted Display : define the Conditions (e.g. DG=8[24]) for reducing the table display to specific values (see illustration below).

  • Suppressed Rows :Similar to the restrictions by preferred rows, the table display can be reduced here. This restriction however - in contrast to the preferred rows function - cannot be turned on/off, it is fixed.

  • Project filter : Browse ... opens the menu window with the same name (see image at right). If you activate a filter here (checkmark), you are applying it to the entire project. In this example you can see 5 applied filters.

Of course, you can extend the list with your own filters.

  • Filter variable :

If you wish to reduce the number of table rows shown using filters in a project, first define one or more filter variables [a]in PARTeditor. Now enter the required filter in the individual rows of the filter variable.

In the PARTdataManager [b], in the Extras menu, Settings, Part selection dialog page, in the Project filter field you can control the number of displayed roles via the filter.

[a] Filter variables must be of type "text". They are created in addition to the existing variables.

    [b] As of version 8.

[24] In this context the more complex syntax is possible as well. Please read Section 6.8.5, “ Attribute algorithms ”.
