Dimensioning views can be made available in 3 different file formats:
With PARTdesigner, you can create Dimensioning views from the standard views, configure the dimensioning text against different sets of requirements and provide different additional versions for PARTdataManager.
Details on this can be found under Section 4.12.1, “Create Dimensioning views with PARTdesigner ”.
Normally Dimensioning views are provided by the customer in form of DWG/DXF files. In PARTproject, you can import them and convert to .pra.
Details on this can be found under Section 4.12.2, “External creation and import/conversion of Dimensioning views ”.
*.tif files can be created from paper catalogs by scanning, for example.
Details on this can be found under Section 4.12.3, “*.tif files ”.
The respective views show up in the PARTdataManager in the Technical details docking window.
