8.5.2.1.  ID data

This command opens the window with the same name. Therein you can apply the "business cards" of the part table.

  1. Standard name:

    The syntax of the standard name shows up in the Headline of the PARTdataManager (see fog.) when opening the respective part.

    Correct syntax is important in this case. Always enter your information inside the set of quotation marks.

    If you also wish to include table values, attach these in the format.

    Either M$DG.x$L. or $NENN. and NENN via Attribute algorithm defined

    Either M$DG.x$L. or $NENN. and NENN via Attribute algorithm defined

    Dollar sign variable name point at actual description: e.g. 'hexagonal screw ISO 4016 - $DG.x$L.'

    • NB=

      If you open the ID datawindow, expression NB= '' is already provided but can also be inserted with button NB=.

    • IF

      Insert IF function in conditions. For mode of operation, see Section 8.5.2.7, “ Attribute algorithms ”.

    • ELSEIF

      Insert ELSEIF function in the condition Functionality see Section 8.5.2.7, “ Attribute algorithms ”.

    • Check standard description

      Via Check standard description you can have the expression (syntactic) checked for correctness.

    In the example, the standard name does not contain an applied variable.

    • The Standard name (NB) must be unique !

    • It is used when exporting to CAD system /BOM-list.

  2. Standard number:

    The entry in this field forms the part name in the directory tree of the PARTdataManager-Part selection. [51]

  1. Standard title:

    The entry in this field forms the second part of the part name in the directory tree of the PARTdataManager part selection.

  2. Release date :

    Date of dimensional and/or product standard.

  3. Company :

    Name of company at which the component table was generated.

  4. Format Version :

    For example revision number: Was the part applied new?

  • All fields (1-6) must be filled out!

  • When completing the fields, base your entries on the relevant sets of standards.
