3.3.12. Example: hinge

Before a part can be displayed and chosen in PARTdataManager, the relevant part data and a project file must be created.

The geometry (*.3db) is to be applied in PARTdesigner, the table file (*.tac) in PARTeditor. Both modules can be run from PARTproject.

In PARTprojectthe different information concerning a part – even dimension drawings and additional info – are assigned to a Project file (*.prj).

After being affiliated to the index, the new part is available in PARTdataManager.
