5.9.2.3.1.  Create variable groups (on catalog level)

The item is only displayed on catalog level.

The creation of variable groups is advantageous, because then these can be selected separately. With smaller table and less variables, the user has a better overview when setting the variable values in PARTdataManager or PARTcommunity.

  1. Click on ....

    -> The dialog is opened.

  2. Via plus icon create the desired variable groups and confirm with OK.

    -> The groups are displayed under Variables -> Create variable groups.

    Under Translation, the group names can be translated as usual.

  3. Select the desired project and call the dialog under Variables -> Order/Groups of Variables.

  4. In the dialog, select a created group and move the desired variables into it.

    [Note] Note

    If the groups Main variables and Secondary variables have no content, they will not be displayed in PARTdataManager or PARTcommunity later.
