Insert hatch:

Mark the plane to be hatched by pulling a frame around it with held down Shift key and mouse button.
Press the button.
In the Change parameter window, set the Angle (the value 0 stands for 45°!) and the Hatch spacing (distance of hatch lines).

	Note
	Only closed elements may be hatched.
