    1. Go to your published 3D model on PARTcloud.net (3D SHARE)

     

    2. Click on "Configure your code and use it in your website". Also, click on the render to be visible, not 3D model (upper red box).

     

    3. Click on "Copy" and the link will become blue

     

    4. Click on "Community" (upper-left)

     

    5. Once you are on homepage, just "Paste" it on "Post Something..." and you will see the link of your 3D model. Click on "Share".

     

     

    5. Your 3D model/render should be published on homepage now and it will get more attention like that!

    Augmented Reality (AR) is understood as computer-assisted extension of the perception of reality. Frequently, images or videos are supplemented with additional information or virtual objects by means of overlaying or superimposing.

     

     

    1.Users have to login at PARTcloud.net or create an account. If you are already registered for the 3D CAD models download portal PARTcommunity, this is also valid for PARTcloud.net.The components are uploaded and the information as well as details filled in, so that the 3D CAD model can be found more easily by other users.

     

     

     

    2.After uploading, the 3D CAD model appears in your own portfolio.

     

    3. The users now activate the environment function by moving the cursor to the lower bar and clicking the last button.

     

    4. A new window appears, where the environments can be selected. Here are different environments available to the users, such as city silhouette and floor variants such as parquet. Both options can be selected at the same time.

     

    5. At the end, the users obtain their 3D model with the selected background. Now they can put the model in the scene accordingly per screenshot or in the PARTcloud.net app or add the image at social networks.

  • You can embed an interactive view of your 3D CAD models and assemblies into your website and many CAD manufacturers are already doing it....

    You can embed an interactive view of your 3D CAD models and assemblies into your website and many CAD manufacturers are already doing it.

    1. Create an account on PARTcloud.net

     

    2. Click on the upload button at the top of the page. You will then be asked to select a file(s) and to fill out some details about the part before uploading it.

     

    3. Once the part of assembly has been uploaded, you will be able to see it in your portfolio.

     

    4. If you view the part in your portfolio, you will see a box labelled "Configure your code and use it in your website".

     

    5.There are options available on how your part is shown and which aspects are visible. Underneath those options, an Iframe will be configured, which you can embed into your website. Before copying the code into your website you can test it. Click on the button “Try it” and you will be forwarded to a new site.

    Here you can test and modify your code. The size of the viewer can be adjusted by the width and height figures in the code. Afterwards: Copy this code and paste it into your website.

     

    6. When you preview the webpage, you will now be able to see the interactive window displaying your files.

    3. Choose "Challenges" category (no need to choose subcategory). First you upload files, then renders (Upload Image).

    5. Done. You can upload as many 3D models as you wish for the Weekly Challenge and good luck!

    Use the filter, especially for parts with many rows (characteristics), in order to minimize the number of displayed rows.
     

    Follow the steps listed below to filter for certain variables:
     

    1. Make sure that your are in the dialog area 3D CAD CATALOGS and search for the required part.
       

    2. At directory level select product groups as long as a concrete assembly or concrete single part has been specified and choose an assembly or a single part.
       

    3. For tables with many values (columns) switch into Full screen mode by clicking on the icon .
       



      -> By clicking the icon you return to the standard view.
       

    4. Click on the filter symbol in the column header of the respective variable with which you want to filter.
       




      -> The dialog area with the Filter settings opens.
       



    5. Make your preferred settings. Then click on Apply to confirm your entries.
       




      -> If you want to change your entries click on Reset. If you want to return without changes click on x.
       



      -> Only CAD models are shown which correspond to the filter settings.
       



    6. In order to delete the filter settings, click on Remove all filters.

    Follow the steps listed below to send a CAD model to your e-mail address.
     

    1. Make sure that you are in the dialog area 3D CAD CATALOGS and navigate to the required part.
       

    2. In the dialog area Download CAD models under Edit CAD formats -> Add CAD formats, select the transfer mode email by clicking into the option field. Then define one or more CAD formats and confirm your entries by clicking on Save.
       



      -> The view returns to the dialog area Generation options / Selected formats. Confirm your entries by clicking on Save.
       

    3. Under Actions, click on Generate CAD MODEL.
       




      ->
      The information dialog Generating CAD models opens.


      Note

      All formats selected under Download CAD models (dialog area 3D CAD CATALOGS) -> Edit CAD formats ->Selected Formats are generated. 

      As long as the generation is running, is shown. 

       

    4. As soon as the generation has completed, you will get informed by the note Check your emails that the component was sent by e-mail.
       



      If you close this window, further CAD models can be selected.
       

      Furthermore all generated CAD models are listed under Download CAD models.
       



      In the column Actions, the following icons are displayed:
       

      •   Remove: By clicking on the link you can remove parts from the list, which are no longer                                                        needed.
         

      •   Info: Specific part information
         

    5. After clicking on the link Info specific part information is displayed:
       

      • Preview image

      • Part description

      • Status information about generation

        Generation in progress

        Generation successful

        Generation not successful. A corresponding error message shows up.

         

      •   Status information concerning e-mail distribution

      • Formats:

        All formats activated under Download CAD models (dialog area 3D CAD CATALOGS) -> Edit CAD formats -> Selected formats are generated and listed here now.
         

        For some formats you can get some CAD specific information by clicking the Info-Icon .

        The same Info icon you can find underDownload CAD models -> Actions.
         

      • Level of Detail

      • Generation date

      • Language

      •   to overview all currently available models.
         

    In order to import models into the CAD system, do the following:
     

    1. Open your e-mail account.

    2. Temporarily save the attached ZIP file anywhere.

    3. Unpack the files with WINZIP or a similar program.

    4. Import the file into your CAD system.

      For some formats, you can receive some CAD specific information by clicking on the Info icon  under Formats.

    Emailaddresses hosted by so called freemailers eg. @freenet., @gmail. and so on,
    are generally blocked for security- and/ or costsreasons by some catalogsproviders.
     

    In case you do not use a freemailer, please take into account:

    Other providers enable the download generally after emailauthentification.

    ! If you want your emailaddress to be unblocked please contact the catalogprovider directly !

     

    Attention: 

    Please check if the website is not blocked generally by some internal securitypolicies
    at your site. Please make sure, that *cadenas.de and (!) *partserver.de and (!) *partcommunity.com is listed under "trusted sites" in your browsersettings!

    Click button F7 while PARTdatamanager is opend and send the file systeminfo, too.

    3.  (only if problem with a special part)

    Please open the part in PARTdatamanager an export it as PS3 V2 3D and add this file, too.

    Follow the steps listed below to reach your desired part:

    1. Make sure that your are in the dialog area 3D CAD CATALOGS.

    2. Select the Catalog.

      Note

      While browsing the directory levels, click on the logo/image or the link.
      With Back you reach the previous level.
      WithHome you reach the catalog selection at the highest level.

       

    3. After you have selected a catalog, you may now select the catalog language.

      Note

      Catalog language and language for the user interface can be set differently. 

    4. At directory level  select product groups as long as a concrete assembly  or concrete single part  has been specified.

    5. Choose an assembly or a single part.

    6. As soon as a concrete row has been determined, a 3D view and dimensional drawings are loaded under CAD model preview.

    7. Define the characteristic of the part, by clicking into the option button before the desired row.

      Note

      No value range fields will be shown in the variable view.
      As soon as you are located in the table view and a row has been selected, the generation of a CAD model is possible (only useful if there are no value range fields to be set).

    8. Variable view (possibly set value ranges)

      In order to reach the variable view, click on the part link or preview image.

      -> You can now see all variables in list form.

      In case value range fields are available - you will recognize this by the yellow-highlighted fields - use the arrow  button in order to open these fields and select the desired value and simply enter it directly into the input area (alternatively also possible using a slider).
