What is a challenge?
It is our goal to increase the exchange of knowledge among engineers of our portal PARTcommunity. As a benefit for our active community members we have created several challenges together with the support of numerous component manufacturers, which are awarded with interesting prizes.
How does it work?
Follow the description and tasks of the respective engineering challenge. Post your contribution together with a photo or screenshot to the defined section within the PARTcommunity portal. After the process is finished an independent jury will figure out the winner and notify him.

We are awarding the most interesting use cases!
You have implemented CAD models from CADENAS manufacturing catalogs in your designs or have discovered these components during work experience? Show us your most interesting use cases and win cool prizes!
What do you need to do?
In order to participate in the challenge with your use case you have two possibilities
A) Comment function on PARTcommunity

Visit PARTcommunity, the information platform for engineers by CADENAS at[nbsp]www.partcommunity.com.[nbsp]In case you do not yet have login, you can register free of charge on the website. -
Navigate to the respective manufacturer component: Therefore click on[nbsp]Download CAD Models[nbsp]and search for the respective manufacturer and component your use case is meant for.

Below the components you can find a comment section. Upload photos or a screenshot of your construction together with a short description of the use case here.
Should your design contain several components, you can post your use case at other components as well.
B) Upload form
Use the upload form to submit your use case. We will publish it on PARTcommunity under "Use Cases - Knowledge"
You can also create a personal idea. The use case must not be produced. Each participant can upload as many use cases as desired and thus increase the chance of winning.
Please note, that the contact information in your PARTcommunity profile must be filled out completely and that there is no confidential information on your photograph
Timeframe of participation of the engineering competition: from now until 2012-11-30
What can you win?
CADENAS awards the 3 most interesting use cases with a 100 EUR coupon from Amazon.
The winner is the member who, according to the jury, has shown the most interesting and unique engineering use case for any component within the over 300 manufacturer catalogs. The use case can of course contain several components. The focus of your use case should be laid on the linked component.
Who can participate?
All duly registered members of CADENAS PARTcommunity worldwide, who are at least 18 years of age. Unfortunately those countries that Amazon does not deliver to are excluded. (Currently: Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Sudan, Syria)
